Miss America: Let Us Be the Judge

Well the word is in from Las Vegas, Nevada. The winner of the 2009 Miss America pageant is Miss Indiana, Katie Stam:

We congratulate Ms. Stam on what we assume was, for her, a difficult achievement. But we can't help thinking that if Blubrow were given the onerous responsibility of choosing who should wear the crown – which is actually a tiara, but whatever – we would choose someone with, well, better eyebrows.

Among this year's contenders would have been...

Miss New Hampshire, Natalie C. Shaw:

Miss Nevada, Julianna Erdesz:

Miss Minnesota, Angela McDermott:

Miss Hawaii, Nicole Fox (her "talent" is listed as Tahitian Otea. We'll bet!):

Miss Delaware, Galen Giaccone (platform issue: Dental Outreach – no joke):

Miss California, Jackie Geist:

And, somewhere under those distracting bangs, are the eyebrows of Miss Arkansas, Ashlen Batsen:

Congratulations to all the Photoshopped contestants. And next year, let's see the brows figure more prominently in the judging...
